Mediaplayer PV-MP3 / Videocard

Introduction

Mediaplayer PV-MP3 is a Audio/Video board, based on a Xilinx Spartan 2 FPGA, the board is designed for
multiple purposes, its basically a platform for audio/video projects (notice only mp3 supported for audio).

The board generates a PAL Composite and VGA signal, the generated PAL signal has a resolution off 780x576 pixels,
VGA signal supports both 640x480 and 800x600 pixels, both the PAL and VGA has a colour depth of 16 bit.
The board includes two graphic layers one for picture and one for OSD infomations, both layers can be shown
individual or blended together, with these to layers your can change OSD without changing the background image.

The address/databus is routed to an onboard connector, so that you can attach allmost any CPU board, which
uses the same bus structure as ARM7/ARM9.
