CallerID 2000 (DTMF)
Introduction
The CallerID 2000 is used to show incomming/outgoing phone numbers on a PSTN line, the CallerID is build to decode
the DTMF (used in Denmark), the PSTN interface complies with the ETSI 300.001 standard.
The device has a build onboard EEPROM, which can store the last 100 incomming/outgoing calls, allso the EEPROM holds
a phonebook, which it scan through on an incomming call and than shows the name of the caller, when found in the
phonebook.
There has been made a windows program, which can be used to setup the phonebook entrys, you can allso group people
into Family, Friends, Work (CallerID makes different sounds via onboard piezo on incomming call), the program can allso
download events like incomming, outgoing, answered, unswered, etc. (All with timestamp) and store them in a
logfile.
The CallerID is connected either direct via RS232/RS485 to a comport, or through the "Ethernet To 4-Serial (RS485)",
which than means that all PC's connected to the local network, can connect direct to the CallerID 2000.
